Orad will introduce the second generation of its HDVG graphics rendering platform at IBC. The HDVG+ is a native 64 bits system which offers significant processing and rendering power enhancements.
The HDVG+ will be demonstrated for the first time at IBC at Orad’s booth (7.B27) and will become available for shipping as of October 2011.
The HDVG+ can be equipped with up to 16 GB of RAM which allows loading of much heavier and complex graphic scenes to the render engine. The HDVG+ takes advantage of the latest Intel motherboard and is based on hyper thread multi core CPUs for greater computing power. The latest Orad’s render engine was optimized to further enhance performance. The HDVG+ is based on the latest nVidia graphics board, which greatly improves the real time performance of the system.
The HDVG+ will become available across Orad’s entire range of real time graphics solutions including its ProSet virtual studio, Maestro graphics suite, 3DPlay channel branding system, Interact interactive graphic system, and PowerWall, Orad’s video wall display system.

Like the HDVG, the HDVG+ is a compact 3U rack mounted system. Taking advantage of the HDVG I/O board, it can introduce up to 12 live video feeds into the graphic scene in SD and up to 6 in HD as well as playback a wide range of video clips in different formats and resolutions. Additionally, it is equipped with an embedded downstream keyer, video delay and 16 channels of embedded audio support. The HDVG+ runs on the virus free Linux operating system and for redundancy offers hot swappable dual power supply, mechanical and software bypass as well as Raid protected storage.http://www.orad.tv
