This IBC, Orad will be demonstrating their integrated news graphics solution based on Orad’s Maestro 6 and Avid® iNEWS®, iNEWS Command and Media Composer® solutions. The integrated news graphic solution will be demonstrated at Orad’s booth (7.B27).
Maestro users can now enjoy all the benefits of one of the most comprehensive enterprise on air graphic suites with an advanced asset management system, timelines, smart logic and Avid’s widely used news and editing solutions. With the turnkey news graphics workflow, journalists can access published graphic templates directly from within the iNEWS newsroom computer system. They can browse or search templates, enter relevant data for the story, preview it on their workstation –including real time data and animations- and add it to the newsroom’s rundown. Users can play rundowns created in iNEWS, including the graphic items, via Maestro’s integration to iNEWS Command. A single operator airs the video and graphics from a single interface in iNEWS Command. Additionally, Maestro graphics can be added to edited clips via the integration to Media Composer ensuring a unified look for both real time, edited and post produced items. MaestroNLE plugin allows visual access to graphic templates created in Maestro’s system; templates can be filled in and the user will see a preview of the graphics in the timeline immediately. Once the graphic has been adjusted, it can be rendered and burned into the video locally in the edit station.
