Telmaco S.A. announced that it has joined Spectra Logic’s SpectraEDGE Channel Partner Program. As a SpectraEDGE channel partner, Telmaco S.A. now offers Spectra’s tape- and disk-based archive, backup and disaster recovery solutions to its customers throughout Greece and Cyprus.
Telmaco values Spectra Logic’s digital archive products, and will use the complete range of Spectra Logic products in its system offerings to fulfill the storage needs of its customers for increased data handling following the adoption of file-based technology, and for the archive of legacy material in a secure and efficient way. Spectra’sT-Series family of tape libraries provides very dense storage, enabling customers tostore large data sets in a small space.
Spectra Logic storage solutions:
• Reduce the cost of storage media and eliminate the need for expensive videotape recorders
• Work with all major Media and Asset Management, HSM, and Data Protection systems
• Offer full protection and encryption of all archived assets, and provide industry-leading health monitoring capabilities via Spectra’s Media Lifecycle Management (MLM)feature.
Telmaco plans to resell the SpectraT-Series tape library line and nTier disk appliances to the Media and Entertainment industry to address customers’needs for long term archiving. Spectra’s nTIER disk appliances combined with LTO-based Spectratape libraries are cost effective solutions for near-line disk and long-term digital-tape archiving systems.
